Graduated with honors from Faculty of Design and Interior Design at the State School of Fine Arts (curently; Magdalena Abakanowicz University of the Arts) in Poznań, 1983.

Worked  as a design teacher at the High School of Fine Arts in Poznań, 1987–1988 and as a packaging and display stands designer, 1990–2000.

She does industrial and interior design. 

Currently works in the field of visual arts (including painting and drawing)

She has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Poland, Germany, Switzerland and the United States.

Daughter of glass artist Witold Turkiewicz and designer Danuta Widajewicz -Turkiewicz.
