Anna Malicka-Zamorska

Graduated from the Ceramics and Glass Department at the State Visual Arts School (presently Academy of Fine Arts) in Wroc³aw, 1965.

She is one of the most well-known and popular ceramics artists in the world. She has received scholarships from GIAE, Churchill, Victoria, Australia; Drake University, Des Moines, Iowa, USA; and the Academy of the Arts, Reykjavik, Iceland. She has taken part in international creative symposia, competitions and exhibitions in Poland and abroad.

Her works are found in museums all through Europe, both Americas, Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. Since 1974 she has been a member of the International Academy of Ceramics, with its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
