Marek Broszkiewicz

Graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, earning his degree in 2012 under the supervision of Prof. A. Bednarczyk. His academic journey also includes studies at the Fine Art Department of Newcastle University (2008–2009) and the Directing Department of the Warsaw Film School (2013–2014).
In 2016, he contributed to "Hati Hati Hat," a nationwide charity art project.
He frequently engages in performance art endeavors, notably through live painting and translating complex soundscapes into his signature drawing style.
Between 2014 and 2016, Broszkiewicz directed and produced the independent short film Hipo, which premiered in competition at the 41st Gdynia Film Festival.
Since 2015, he has collaborated with Mexican artist Alejandra Solano on "Aluwium/Aluvión," an ongoing international project merging large-scale painting, sound art, and experimental photography. Broszkiewicz has participated in eight solo and duo exhibitions in Poland (Kraków, Warsaw) and abroad (Madrid, Spain, and Jardín de Tlalpan, Mexico). He has also showcased his work at the National Exhibition of Young Painting "Promotions" in Legnica.
His artistic practice primarily investigates linear automatic abstraction alongside music and video production
